Interesting Sites To Share - Part 1

I am going to try something different on this blog. I like to travel to the furthest corners of the internet to find the most interesting sites, quizzes, and oddities, and it is something that I would like to share with you. I'll stick with sharing 4 or 5 sites at a time with my brief thoughts about each, and I am sure that more posts like these will be on the way. I have to find ways to keep this blog going regardless, so I believe that this will be a great way to drum up some new content.

World Spotify - World Spotify is a site that shows you a world map and displays the songs with the most Spotify daily streams by country. Sometimes, I would go one this site and see what are the most streamed Spanish songs in the Latin American countries so I can add them to my Spotify playlists. The songs are usually Reggaeton tracks, which is one of the genres that I frequently listen to. It is also worth noting that much of Asia sure loves their Korean pop music.

Google Digital Garage - If you did not know this, Google is offering its own (mostly) free courses on online marketing and other related topics to help individuals and business succeed. This is particularly helpful nowadays, as the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the working lives of many people, and the operations of many businesses. Courses last as short as one hour and as long as 40 hours, and some courses come with their own certificates. I recently took a short course on building confidence with self-promotion, and this is definitely a topic worth talking about on a future blog post.

Discover Your Money Personality - Here is a short test that you can take that tries to determine your "money personality" when it comes with handling your finances. It looks like the company that is offering this test is launching an app in the near future (this is not an endorsement). Regardless, you just answer some vague questions and then you are assigned a type depending on how you answer the questions. I found this reasonably interesting, but I felt that the type I was assigned did not really match my financial habits. Maybe it will for you?

Sporcle - Sporcle is a trivia site where users create quizzes for other users to take. Quizzes cover every topic imaginable and you are given a prescribed time to try to complete the quiz. I remember spending hours on this site years ago completing countless amounts of geography and sports quizzes to test my knowledge and to learn new things. I only recently re-discovered this site and tried a couple of quizzes in order to feel a wave of nostalgia of when I would go on this site during my time at university.

So these are just a few sites worth checking out. As I find more interesting sites, I will make future posts to share what I found.

Hope you enjoy!
