The second stop on VIA Rail's "The Canadian" where we got to hop out of the train and stretch our legs was the city of Saskatoon in Saskatchewan. I wish I could tell you that on this brief stop in the Prairies, there was something worth seeing, but this railway station was in the middle of nowhere and nowhere near downtown.
