When I was in elementary school, I had one of those “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” books filled with interesting oddities from around the world. One such oddity was a house made of glass bottles in Prince Edward Island, and I always found it fascinating. I wondered if you could live in a house made of glass bottles. Fast forward to July 2025, where I got to go to Prince Edward Island. One of the things that I got to go see were The Bottle Houses and Gardens in the southwest corner of the island. The Bottle Houses are a set of three structures made of glass bottles built by Edouard Arsenault in the early 1980s. Bottles dotted the walls with mortar while the wood frames and shingled roofs supported the structures.

Niagara Parks Power Station
I had a free day in Niagara Falls, so I went to go check out some attractions that I would never have the chance to go see. One such attraction was the recently-opened Niagara Parks Power Station. The Niagara Parks Power Station was formerly a hydroelectric generating station opened in 1905 and decommissioned in 2006. The generating station re-opened as a museum and general tourist attraction in 2021, and so I went and paid the roughly $35 admission price (including tax) to go check it out.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the debut RPG from French studio Sandfall Interactive which became an unexpected huge success in the video game industry. I just finished playing the game, and I have a lot to say about this game: both in terms of the aspects of the game itself, and its place in the video game industry.

I Drove A Tesla Cybertruck. Here Are My HONEST Thoughts.
I was at a festival, and there were some Tesla representatives offering free test drives of their new product: the Tesla Cybertruck. Now right off the bat, I want to say that I am not interested in Tesla as a company or their vehicles, and I am not someone who is a fan of Elon Musk and his antics. However, the Cybertruck is such a polarizing and controversial vehicle that I, deep down, wanted to drive this thing and see how this thing rides. Prior to this, I have never driven an electric vehicle, so imagine my first electric vehicle I get to drive is one of the most controversial vehicles ever produced in recent memory.

Media Gallery: Roar By The Shore 2025
I had a free Sunday morning, so I drove up to Port Perry to go check out the yearly "Roar By The Shore" car show. I have not been to this event before, and I thought it would be a good way to spend a couple of hours to check out some classic cars. It was certainly a balmy morning and I was sweating quite a bit, but the streets of Port Perry were not busy at all. There were all sorts of classic cars to see, including Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, and many others (including hot rods and pickups). I took some pictures of some of the cars on display, which you can see below:
