My Writing Ideas for 2020

Here we are in 2020. It is a new year (and a new decade), but I am hoping that I can take part in some fun things in this year as I did in 2019. Here are some of my upcoming plans, trips, and ideas I have for 'Cultured Individual' for 2020.

In April, I will be travelling from Toronto to Vancouver on VIA Rail's 'The Canadian' train. The longest I have ever been on a train was from Toronto to Ottawa a few years ago, so it will be interesting how I will handle four straight nights sleeping on a train. Thankfully, meals and sleeping accommodations are included in my ticket. This trip has been on my bucket list for some time, as I have never explored Western Canada before. I would love to explore more of Canada, but the cost of travel is a barrier. A train review is definitely going to be in the plans.

I will also be staying in Vancouver for a couple of nights, so I am trying to figure out what to do in my time there. I would like to go to Whistler for a day, but I am sure that I will find other things to do in the city proper. I am also trying to figure out what my sunny vacation is going to be. I would love to go to another all-inclusive resort, and I would love to go another Caribbean island, such as Aruba, to stay for a week.

As evidenced by my review of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I now own a Nintendo Switch. I also have Pokemon: Let's Go Eevee and Super Mario Odyssey, so there will be reviews of both games on my blog in the near future, as well as many other games on the system.

Finally, you may know that I like to do deep dives on certain people that I have encountered in my life. Please see my posts about Dave (the guy I met in first-year university) and Masia (the post-graduate classmate). Sometime this year, I will do another deep dive about an affluent young woman that I used to work with. I am actually itching to write this post, but I am also sure she reads this blog regularly, so I do not know when I can actually put this post up on the blog.

Anyways, I have planned these things for the blog this year (along with many more posts), so stay tuned...
