More Italy and Florida Stuff

I need a blog post to show you all of the things that I wanted to show you that I could not fit into any of the blog posts that I already created. This post will be unstructured by nature, and will just be a photo dump of some things while I was in Italy and Florida. Anyways, enjoy!

I had an evening to walk around in Rome, so naturally I would go check out the Trevi Fountain. It was busy with people wanting to take pictures of the landmark. Obviously, there is impressive Roman architecture, but it is just a fountain, and now I can say that I have been there.

I also went to check out the Spanish Steps as well. The landmark was not as busy as the Trevi Fountain but there were way more touts trying to sell you crap. I walked up the steps and took more pictures of the area and the Rome skyline from the top.

Switching gears to Florida, I spent some time at Hollywood Beach soaking up the sun and drinking a fruity cocktail while staring out into the ocean.

I went to the swap shop in Fort Lauderdale, and I have not been to this place since I was a child, so I could not remember what this place even looked like. There were many vendors selling things out of their vehicles, but walking into the building itself felt like a relic of the 1980s. There were various exotic cars on show here, but I could not get over the checkerboard floor and the overall dated look.

I had myself a panini sandwich and an iced latte at the Cuban cafe at the swap shop.

I had a night to head out to Las Olas Beach and check out some of the nightlife while getting a few drinks. It was a good time to people watch and check out the vibe. People were offering (I presume watered-down) shots for cheap to get people to go to their bars.

Lastly, I got some video of two whooping cranes making all kind of racket outside of where we were staying in Orlando.
