Resort Review: RIU Palace Bavaro

I stayed for seven days at the RIU Palace Bavaro, which is an all-inclusive resort recently renovated for 2024. The RIU Palace hotels offer more of a luxury and relaxation touch compared to their Classic hotels, but RIU advertises that this resort has something for the whole family. The RIU Palace Bavaro is part of a compound of RIU resorts in the area (that also includes the RIU Palace Macao, RIU Bambu, and the RIU Palace Punta Cana).

Sometimes, It Is Good To Be A Stranger

Socially, I feel like I am back to square one.

Before the tail-end of the COVID-19 lockdowns (around 2021), I have always had a friend-group that I could hang out with, but as of now, I do not think that is the case anymore. I have since moved jobs on a couple of occasions, and it is great for me professionally, as I can now work from home and I am making a better living financially. The problem with my new working arrangements is that I do not get to meet people face-to-face very often. The extent of my physical interactions with people at my work is the occasional office visit once every three months. 

Halifax Hodge Podge Of Stuff I Did

The Callisto Protocol: Mostly Atmosphere, And Not Much Else

After finishing Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. I decided to play another single-player experience, but of a survival horror variety. The Callisto Protocol is a sci-fi, survival horror game released in 2022, which bears striking similarities to a previous sci-fi, survival horror video game series, namely the Dead Space series. I was interested in playing this game and seeing if The Callisto Protocol is as good as Dead Space 1 and 2, or is it an inferior title like Dead Space 3.
