Here are some more random pictures of my adventures in Vancouver. These are all the other things I saw in the city that I could not fit in any of my other Vancouver posts.
I paid the $80 for lift access to go up Grouse Mountain, which I do not think is worth it if you are not already going to go skiing or snowboarding. However, there are some excellent views of Vancouver and the area from the lodge. Everything looks so wooded and full of wilderness, which was what I expected considering where I was.
I also made sure to rest my aching muscles and bones by sitting by the fire for a bit, which was well-needed. While we were up at Grouse Mountain, there was a film crew on site filming something. I do not know if this was a movie or a commercial for something, but I was watching the ice rink in front of me, and I think the film crew were setting up a hockey scene. My assumption is that it was a scene in one of those Hallmark Christmas movies.
I was in North Vancouver grabbing some lunch, and I got some nice pictures of the Vancouver skyline out in the distance. On the left side of the pictures, if you see the circular structure, that is the Vancouver Lookout that I was on the other day.
We had dinner at The Morrissey, which was right next to our hotel, which had this dark-red lighting and old electronics everywhere.
I made sure to get some night shots of Vancouver when I could, including pictures of Granville Street at night. I remember walking back to the hotel from the Whitecaps match, and there was some drunk woman trying to stop me to ask me what colour her eyes were.
The following morning, while waiting for our VIA Rail train, I went for a short walk to the water where I got some pictures of the train station, Science World, and False Creek. The morning was tranquil, and a bit gloomy.
